The small stack layer cage takes everything that works in our flagship H-type line — vertical stacking, per-tier automation, hot-dip galvanized frames — and packages it into a 1260×1300×470 mm module dimensioned specifically for the 10,000–30,000 bird houses that make up the backbone of Africa's and Southeast Asia's egg supply. Narrower houses, lower ceilings and smaller budgets do not have to mean ladder cages and hand-collected eggs.
Each door groups 8–9 hens at 468.75 cm² per bird, stacked 4 to 12 tiers. The smaller module pays dividends where transport is expensive: more sets fit per container relative to the house they equip, which is exactly what a first-time buyer importing one 40HQ to a 15,000-bird house needs.
Driven feeding, nipple drinking, front egg face and belt manure removal are the same components used on our 100k+ bird projects — the module shrank, the specification did not.
We design tier count to your effective eaves height: 4 tiers for a 3.2 m house, up to 12 where the building allows, so the same cage line equips a startup shed and an integrator block.
Set geometry is tuned so a mixed load of frames, belts and troughs fills a 20GP/40GP with minimal air — landed cost per bird is part of the design brief, not an afterthought.
Because it is H-type architecture, your service history, spare parts and layouts stay compatible if you expand into large-stack houses at your next site.
Below 10,000 birds, an A-type ladder cage often wins on price. Above 30,000, big H-type lines earn their premium. In between — the sweet spot where most of our Nigerian, Tanzanian and Philippine customers actually operate — the small stack module delivers H-type automation economics (one feeding pass per house, eggs out without human hands, manure out daily) at a capital number that a cooperative loan or personal savings can carry. It is also the configuration we recommend to integrators building satellite farms around a central feed mill and collection hub.
As a working guide: a 12 m × 60 m house with two rows of 8-tier small-stack cages carries on the order of 20,000 layers with comfortable walkways. Send your house plan and we will fix the exact row count, belt exits and controller positions in the drawing. Warranty terms, galvanizing mass (about 275 g/m²) and the 20-year structural rating are written into the proforma — not marketing copy.
