The H-type large stack layer cage system is what a modern industrial egg plant is built on. Unlike ladder (A-type) cages, H-type stack cages sit vertically on stacked galvanized frames with each tier enclosed in its own environment — feeding, watering, egg collection and manure removal all run automatically on every tier, which is what allows 8, 10 or even 12 tiers in a single house without the heat and ammonia stacking problems that kill older shed designs.
Our flagship module measures 1950×450×410 mm per group section (1950×400×410 mm on compact builds), holding 3–4 hens per door at 450–520 cm² per bird. Stacked 8–12 tiers on a 15 m × 100 m × 4 m house footprint, one shed carries 100,000 to 160,000 layers; a standard 4-tier row configuration in that same house comfortably runs 48,000–51,120 birds.
Each tier lives inside the framed envelope: fresh air ducted at bird level, spent air and manure extracted downward, so temperature and ammonia stay flat from bottom tier to top. That is the difference between 92%+ lay rates and a house that merely has cages in it.
Driven feeding with a leveler keeps feed depth identical along 100 m of line; PVC40 water lines with nipple drinkers and drip cups; a 55 cm egg-collection face with gentle-rollers feeding central belts; belt manure removal under every tier; a French Dosatron dosing unit on the water line.
K-type galvanized partition wire — no plastic side parts that become brittle and crack under UV. Posts are 2.0 mm coil, roll-formed and hot-dip galvanized at roughly 275 g/m² zinc; we quote a 20-year structural life and 300 sets/day production capacity.
Eggs roll to the front collection face at a controlled speed, join the pit elevator and reach the grading room without operators entering the house — fewer breakages, less labor, no egg handling in the bird zone.
An A-type ladder cage is cheaper per bird and breathes better in hot climates — we sell plenty of them. But land and buildings are the expensive parts of an egg business, and the H-type roughly triples the birds you can house under one roof. When we price a new 100,000-bird project, the H-type house typically needs two-thirds of the building, a third of the land clearing, and one feeding corridor instead of three — the equipment premium pays back in the structure, not the other way round. With ROI on automatic layer cages landing in the 3–5 year range at commercial egg prices, serious investors default to H-type for their flagship houses.
Tiers, set dimensions and automation level are engineered per project: 3–12 tiers are all within our production range. Philippine and West African integrators typically run 8-tier H lines with central egg collection; smaller national farms often start at 4 tiers with belt manure but semi-automatic egg handling and expand later — the frames take upgrade kits. Send house drawings or just a land size and flock target; the layout drawing comes back free with the quotation.
